I just returned from a trip to Germany. I was quite pleased to notice, in a shop at a motorway services in France, the presence of a Linux magazine. I’ve often found that in Britain you need to know which shops to find a Linux magazine in because not everywhere stocks them. I don’t know if this is a sign that Linux use is more wide-spread in France, or if it’s because it is a first edition of a new magazine, but either way it was a nice thing to see.

In case you’re wondering (you may know already) the big headline in the middle says “The Unmissables” in big print and “Our selection of the best free software” in the smaller white print.
(Incontournables means literally “Those things that cannot be bypassed”)
Ah cool! I didn’t even consider what it said….
